When spring comes: The river is unfrozen; Willows become green;
Pear stamens are opening;Peach and apricot flowers are blooming;
Shoots are growing; Peasants are cultivating the soil and growing
spring wheat; A herdboy is tending his flock outside the bamboo
grove; Fisherman is spreading his net in the river and waiting
for a woodcutter to drink their fills.

THE WIND Swinging of candle’s red flame can be seen through
the screen window while it is chilly after a shower. Flower
petals and weeping willow were flying leisurely,pool plants was
rained on,shadow of palm leaves were moving and bamboos’
rhythm(it gives out sound when bamboos were blown)could be he
ard. At cold night in late autumn,one can hear the bell
ringing in temple lacated in distant hill. Swiftness of a boat
drifting with sail hoisted is just like an arrow after it was
shot. A herdboy riding on a cow’s back was flying a kite
and wave of pine trees surged forward just like flowing
fountain. Willow catkin flying fiercely like heavy snowflakes
dancing.The most lovableness is the green wave of wheat in
acres of field. (Although the title of the song is “Praising
the Wind”,yet the charm is that there is not a single
word about “wind”.One can easily find that all the
movements are from the wind blowing.)
