岔曲《江干远眺》

　　云水悠悠，晚风凉，日落山头。哗啦啦，乱飘红叶，冷飕飕，吹得那水面上的芦花乱点头。〔过板〕

　　霞光落，暮云收，银河耿耿射斗牛，江天一色明〔卧牛〕
　　明如白昼。猛回头，见冷森森，一轮明月滚金球。

　　（此曲现俗称《晚霞》，今按传统称为《江干远眺》。其中〔卧牛〕处曲词仍用原词，与今传唱“江天一带明如白昼”不同。）

Autumnal Brief
Western wind is coming to herald
the fall of the year.
It sweeps across the sky, far off and
serene.
It plucks off dead leaves, dyed in hue of ripeness,
At random casts them in the air,
And send the reeds upon the river bowing ad rustling.

The setting sun rests on the hill
As it throws its last glow on the earth.
But it soon takes its departure,
Leaving behind a fine, autumn night sky,
Decked with stars shining bright.
Everthing upon the river is flooded in a divine light
When – there over the horizon, a brilliant, full moon
Goes up, in its calm and detached manner.
